The line graph demonstrates the people migrated to different countries because of employment, study, family/friends, or adventure between the years 2000 and 2015.
Overall, four elements exhibited an upward trend throughout the period. However, the employment was the most popular reason to move over the years.
The data reveals that employment commenced the period with 60,000 people and then saw a steady rise by around 85,000 in 2005. The figure peaked at just over 90,000 in 2010, however turned back to the nearly same point at the end of the period. While the study was the second popular reason with approximately 25,000 people in 2000, the figure nearly doubled in 2005 and after experienced a constant increase for 10 years and then reached the same level as the employment’s in 2015.
The other two reasons, which are family/friends and adventure, beginned the timeframe with the same point by about 10,000 individuals. The figure of family/friends steadily rose by about 10,000 in a ten-year period from 2000 to 2010, and then relatively remained stable until 2015, in contrast to adventure which witnessed a slight and steady increase over the period.
