While the figure for low-fat and reduced spreads, which reached it speak at about 80 grams five years later, fell slightly in the final years to roughly 70 grams in 2007, there was a slight decline of 10 grams in the intake of butter over the last decade. Likewise, approximately 80 grams of margarine was eaten in the first year after which the figure fluctuated slightly and dropped to a low of 40 grams.
