In June, the British Museum led in the number of visitors, at about 600,000 visitors, followed by the Natural History Museum and Science Museum, which had figures of about 550,000 and 400,000 visitors, respectively. In July, while the British Museum continued to increase and reached its highest point at nearly 750,000 visitors, the Natural History Museum and Science Museum fell to about 380,000 and 370,000 visitors, respectively.
From July to September, the number of people coming to the British Museum had a strong decline and bottomed out at approximately 500,000 visitors in August. However, the visitor numbers saw a gradual increase again with a number of about 650,000 in September. At the same time, the number of visitors to the Natural History Museum steadily rose to 390,000 people and continued to increase to about 470,000 people at the end of the period. Conversely, the number of people visiting the Science Museum continued to decrease, reaching a low point of about 300,000 people in August before experiencing a gradual rise and reaching its highest point at about 460,000 visitors in September.
