The line graph depicts the percentage of mobile phone sales by three different kinds of manufacturers namely Motorola, Nokia and Sony Ericsson from 1994 to 2004.
Overall,while the proportion of mobile phone sales by Nokia increased, the quality of Motorola declined and the figure for Sony Ericsson fluctuated. Additionally, the percentage of Sony Ericsson was the lowest during the given period.
In 1994, the proportion of mobile phones which were sold by Motorola was 32%, then it fell gradually to under 25% when the figure for Nokia fluctuated from 20% to 24% in the first five years and the ratio of mobile phone sales by Sony Ericsson to total of mobile phones was a growth from 12% to 17% between 1994 and 1998 though it had a decrease to 11% in 1995.
During the last seven years of the given period, the quality of Nokia reached a peak at 37% in 2002 before it reduced to 31% in 2004. In terms of Motorola, it continued to fall and reached the lowest point at 15% in 2000 and had an up slight fluctuation from 2000 to 2004. Regarding Sony Ericsson, it saw a sharp decline to 7% in 2003. After that, it grew slightly to 10% in 2004.
