The line graph illustrates the monthly earnings of four different restaurants – Delicacy, Evening Paradise, Grand Feast, and Spicy Fortune – in a specific city throughout the year 2010.
Overall, Delicacy, Evening Paradise, and Grand Feast experienced an upward trend in income, whereas Spicy Fortune saw a significant decline. Notably, Evening Paradise emerged as the highest-earning restaurant by the end of the year, despite starting near the bottom.
In January, Spicy Fortune was the most successful restaurant, generating 160,000 dollars. Although its income fluctuated and peaked at 170,000 dollars in March, it dropped dramatically in the second half of the year, ending at a yearly low of 50,000 dollars in December. Conversely, Grand Feast started at 100,000 dollars and experienced a mild decline until June, after which it steadily recovered to finish the year at 135,000 dollars.
Meanwhile, Evening Paradise and Delicacy began with the lowest incomes, at 50,000 dollars and 30,000 dollars respectively. Delicacy’s revenue remained below 60,000 dollars for most of the year before rising sharply in the final two months to close at 120,000 dollars. Evening Paradise showed a similar but more dramatic growth pattern; its earnings surged dramatically from October onwards, peaking at 190,000 dollars in December and becoming the highest figure on the graph.
