The line graph illustrates the monthly income of four restaurants – Delicacy, Evening Paradise, Grand Fiesta and Spicy Fortune – in a city throughout 2010.
Overall, Spicy Fortune earned the highest revenue for most of the year, although its income declined sharply at the end of the period. In contrast, Evening Paradise showed a dramatic increase and finished the year with the highest earnings. The other two restaurants experienced moderate growth overall.
At the beginning of the year, Spicy Fortune generated about $160,000 in January, significantly more than the other restaurants. However, its income fluctuated during the year, falling to around $120,000 in June and eventually dropping steeply to approximately $50,000 in December. Grand Fiesta started at roughly $100,000 in January, decreased slightly in the first half of the year, and then followed an upward trend, ending the year at about $135,000.
Evening Paradise began with relatively low revenue, at around $50,000 in January. After some fluctuations, its income rose substantially in the final months, reaching a peak of nearly $190,000 in December, the highest figure on the chart. Delicacy earned the least for much of the year, fluctuating between $20,000 and $60,000, but it also experienced a notable increase in December, finishing at approximately $120,000.
In summary, while Spicy Fortune dominated most months, Evening Paradise recorded the most significant growth and ended the year as the top-earning restaurant.
