The graph illustrates the tendencies in consumption of various fast food products in Great Britain during two decades from 1970 to 1990.
In general, the overall amount of food consumed soared throughout this period and experienced more than a double rise. To sum up the number, the approximate number of the whole foods in 1970 reached 400 or so, whereas the final data for 1990 reaches a high of 1000.
Noteworthy, the amount of pizza consumed slowly diminished, reaching its low at 200 kg in 1980 and then leveling out for the next ten years.
Whereas the trends for both fish&chips and hamburgers were constantly rising. There was a surge in the amount of hamburgers that reached 300 kg in 1990. Fish&Chips were soaring drastically since 1980, when their numbers were doubled every five years. Thus, with slightly under 100 kg in the beginning in 1970, the constant growth reached 150 in 1980 and increased immensely by 1980 reaching 300 kg. 1990 witnessed the highest numbers at 500 kg.
