The graph provides information with regard to the amount of coffee exported in three different nations over a period of 10 years.
It is clear that Brazil was by far the most important means of coffee exporter over the period shown. It is also worth mentioning that Colombia exported the lowest amount of coffee compared to other countries. However, all given nations experienced an upward trend at the end of the period.
The striking point is that there was a moderate rise in coffee exports in Brazil and Colombia. Brazil’s exportation of coffee accounted for 13 kilograms of millions in 2002, and in the next four years, there was a slight increase to a peak of 15 million kilograms. In Colombia, the figure for coffee exports stood at 5 million kilograms, whereas in 2006 Colombia witnessed a significant rise to approximately 12 million kilograms of coffee. Meanwhile, in 2002, Costa Rica constituted 15 million in terms of coffee exports and experienced a decrease in 2006 representing almost 7 million kilograms.
Furthermore, in 2008, there was an upward trend in Brazil and Costa Rica, accounting for 20 and 13 million kilograms respectively. The former and latter saw an increase since 2012 with some moderate fluctuation respective 25 and 20 million kilograms. Although, Colombia sharply declined to roughly 3 million kilograms in 2008, however, to the end of the given period Colombia increased dramatically and made up 15 million kilograms of coffee exports.
