This line graph demonstrates the coffee exports in three various countries of Brazil, Colombia and Costa Rica between 2002 and 2012. The measurement index calculated in million kilograms. The most significant facts to emerge from the graph are that despite some fluctuations, overall trend showed a gradual increase in exports of these countries.
Both Brazil and Costa Rica had the most level of exports. Although they stood at between 10 to 15 million kilograms in the first year, this situation then changed. Over the next 4 years, Brazil, experienced a gradual rise in coffee exports, while Costa Rica reached a trough of below 10 million. Both trends then followed a steady increase to 25 million (Brazil) and 5 million fewer (Costa Rica).
Colombia had erratic pattern compared to other two countries. It began at the lowest level of 5 million kilograms in 2002.However , it increased gradually to more than 10 million 2 years later. Then the pattern altered and hit a low of around 2.5 million. Finally, after 2006, Colombia saw a sharp climb to the amount of 15 million in 2012, the lowest level among all countries.
