The line graph reveals the percentages of area family reuse rates in 3 different countries, namely the UK, France and Germany over the period of 10 years starting from 2005.
In general, the proportion of regional household recycling rates in the UK and Germany increased, that of France experienced a remarkable drop. Household recycling rates in France and Germany have risen and fallen fairly evenly, while in the UK they have risen unevenly.
According to the line graph, the proportion of regional households recycling in France stood at 50% during 2005, higher than the UK and Germany by 13% and 30% respectively. Just 4 years later, recycling rates in these 3 countries stood at about 40% and speed increased significantly over a period both in Germany and the UK whilst it decreased in France.
The recycling rates in France continuously dropped in 2013, this country recycled nearly 30% household waste. While in Germany and the UK, the recycling ratio continuously improved and both countries recycled over 50% waste in 2013. In 2015, the household recycling in France was higher than 2013 and stood at 40%, the recycling ratio in the UK was highest, over 60% and in Germany was around 57%.
