Overall, it is evident that the most noticeable domestic recycling levels were observed in UK, which has increased dramatically over time. The second significant proportion was recorded in Germany that also rose enormously during the given period. Whereas France experienced significant decline throughout ten years.
Turning to the details of UK, in 2005 level of recycling percentage made up almost 35%. By 2011, the rate had grown for about 50%, and by the end of the period, the figure had reached 60%. According to the figures of Germany in 2005, home waste recycling rates accounted for 20%. In 2011, percentage represented approximately 45%, in the final year, the proportion had escalated to almost 55%.
Focusing on France, starting from 2005, residential recycling share experienced considerable downward trend, which constituted 50%, and fallen rapidly at 30% in 2013. While towards to the end of the period, the proportion increased markedly representing 40%.
