The rates rose significantly up to 60% in the year of 2015 which was the peak of all the three countries. Germany had its recycling rates at the lowest of all which was 20% in 2005, but it experienced a steady increase between 2005 and 2010 and rose minimally up to 58% in 2015.
France’s recycling rate hit a peak in 2015, which was the largest of all at 50%. The rates declined gradually and reached the lowest point in 2012, back then it went up rapidly to 40% in 2015.
As a final point, recycling rates in the UK and Germany went up over the period, while France’s rate generally dipped.
