Overall, while in the first years, female and male subscriber rates were increasing in similar amounts, at the end of the period, there were more male subscribers compared to females. Additionally, women’s subscriber rates decreased at the end of the period.
In 1995, the number of women subscribers was slightly higher, with about 510 subscribers, than men subscribers, which was only 500. After that year, rates started to increase exponentially, and in 2000, there were 3 times more women subscribers compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, men’s subscriber levels increased to approximately 1200 individuals.
On the other hand, in 2005, the rates were similar, and there were about 2500 subscribers for both genders. After that, the rates started to diminish for women subscribers, and in 2015, there were only about 2400 subscribers. By contrast to that, male subscriber levels rose, and became approximately 2700 subscribers in 2015.
