The line graph illusturates the number of overseas tourist (in millions) who travelled different three countries ( France, Spain, and Japan) over a 30-year period.
Overall visiting rates of France and Spain experienced similar upward trend during the period,however the number of tourists who visited Japan declared.
In 1990, the number of people who choosed France and Spain was 30 and almost 45 millions respectivelly. The figure for France increased sharply to reach more than 80 millions over a 30-year period and trend almost doubled from 1990 to 2020.Similarly, the number of overseas tourists who visited Spain rose to reach more than 40 millions,exceeding Japan’s trend in almost 2002.This upward trend continued until 2020,reacing 75 millions.
In contrast,at the start of period the number of people who travelled Japan was 40 millions,showing slightly upward trend to reach nearly 43 millions until 2000. During two decades tourists’s number decreased by 34 millions in 2020.
