The line graph illustrates the number of armed robbery, assults and murder crimes that happed in London from 2003 to 2012.
Overall, in the 2002, the highest number of armed robbery was recorded in London but afterward it erratically declined to 2004 and thereafter armed robbery remained level off until 2012. However, assults crimes showed an increasing trend throughout the period. Although, there is slight fluctuation on murder and remained constant over the period.
According to the data given in the line graph, in 2002 the number of armed robbery, assults and murder crimes were recorded at 3400, about 2200, and 500 respectively. But there were rose trend on both armed robbery, assults crimes in 2004 and these figures stood at around 3700, and 2400 respectively. It is noticeable that the number of armed robbery recorded a signficant drop from 2005 to 2008 and the lowest number of armed robbery was recorded at 1100 in 2008. Thereafter, the number of armed robbery slightly upward to 1500 in 2009 afterward, this figure remained constant until 2012. Further, the highest number of murder was recorded at 900 in 2005 but this figure droped to around 500 in 2006. Afterward this figure remained steady until 2012 with slight fluctuations. when compared assults crime remained at 2000 in 2008 although, it showed a sharp growth trend from 2009 to 2012 . Meanwhile the highest proportion of murder was recorded in 2012 at 2800.
