The line graph illustrates how many participants who join music concerts categorize by various age groups over a five-year period starting in 2010.
Overall, it is evident that while an increasing tendency was witnessed in the number of individuals between 25 and 44, the opposite was observed in the number of participants at the 55-64 age group. Moreover, fluctuations were recorded in the three remaining categories.
In the initial period, with above 50% attendees participating in concerts, the 25-44 age group accounted for the second largest number of people before rising to 70% in the following five years. In contrast, with respect to the 55-64 age group, there was a slight rise in the initial two years (from 25% to 30%), and then dropping significantly to 20% in the last years after remaining stable at the proportion of 30% during the three-year period (2011, 2012 and 2013).
It is apparent that the participants between 16 and 24 years old constituted the largest percentage in 2010 (above 50%) previously decreasing dramatically to 40% in the next year. Afterwards, this figure underwent a surge back to the first year’s proportion. Meanwhile, attendees at the 45-54 age group reached 40% in 2010, which was four times higher than the initial rate of people who were more than 75 years old. Whereas the percentage of people above 75 years-old surged for 20% in the next year, the amount of attendees at the 45-54 age group witnessed a downward trend prior to rising to nearly 50% in 2015.
