The image includes a combined line and scatter plot with three datasets over time from 1700 to 2000; Population size (millions) on the primary vertical axis ranges from 0-60 with increments of 10, and Birth & Death rate (per 1,000 people) on the secondary vertical axis also ranges from 0-60 with the same increments; Population size shows a steady increase from below 10 million in 1700 to above 50 million in 2000; Birth rate starts at approximately 40 in 1700, oscillates, peaking above 50 around 1825, then declines to around 10 in 2000; Death rate begins just below 40 in 1700, fluctuates with a sharp drop around 1800, aligns closely with birth rate until breaking away sharply downwards around 1875 to level off below 15 in 2000; the X-axis represents years with increments of 50 years.

The presented line graph gives data on population size of England and Wales, as well as the birth and death rate from 1700 to 2000.
In general, population size of these two countries exceeded the substantial growth. As an overall trend, figures of birth and death rates shown variation in numbers.
To start with, population size in England and Wales was around 2 milion, in 1700. Then it fluctuated before rocketing to 50 million, in 2000. The birth rate was quite high in 1700, compared to population size, totalled 30 milion. However, death rate was only 4 milion lower. Next, both birth and death rates moved upward for 50 years, and then remained constant for another 50 years. After that it plummeted down until 1950. It is interesting to note that the birth and death rate was keeping quite similar pattern to that time, but then the birth rate went up sharply while the death rate remained steady.
