The line graph provides information about the typical usage of Facebook and Twitter per person in Australia per week. It contains information from the year 2012 to 2016.

Overall, the chart clearly shows that Facebook usage has increased from 2012 till 2016, while Twitter usage dropped between 2013 and 2015.

Firstly, the chart differentiates both trend lines by using different colors(blue for Facebook and Red for Twitter). From the year 2015 to 2016, the typical usage of Twitter rose sharply while that of Facebook rose insignificantly. Moreover, in the time frame between 2012 and 2013, while Facebook showed a rise in its usage, Twitter showed a significant drop.

Secondly, in the years 2013, 2014, and 2015, Facebook’s usage went up gradually and that of Twitter’s remained the same. Twitter’s usage skyrocketed between 2015 and 2016, such that it surpassed Facebook’s usage. In conclusion, it could be predicted from the graph that in the future, the usage of Facebook will continue to soar while that of Twitter could plunge as it did between 2013 and 2015.
