The line graph compares the populations, measured in millions, of three countries – Country A, Country B and Country C – over the period from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, Country A experienced a steady increase in population throughout the period, whereas Country B showed a gradual decline. By contrast, the population of Country C remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations.
At the beginning of the period, Country B had the largest population at approximately 35 million, followed by Country C with around 30 million. Country A had the smallest population, standing at about 20 million. Over the following two decades, the population of Country A increased consistently, reaching roughly 40 million by 2020. This made it the most populous of the three countries by the end of the period.
In contrast, Country B’s population declined steadily from about 35 million to 25 million over the same period. Meanwhile, Country C experienced very little overall change, fluctuating slightly around the 30-million mark before ending the period at approximately the same level as it began.
