Overall, the amount of CO2 emissions in China significantly increased, while the USA and India observed minimal growth over the period. Additionally, the EU was the only region that witnessed a downward trend in CO2 output, whereas the figure for other countries remained dominant over other sectors.
Regarding those categories, they considerably increased. Although China was a modest emitter at the initial point, its emissions then climbed steadily to about 3 in 2000. They rocketed in the next decade before becoming the second-ranked emitter at the end of the period. In terms of all other countries, their CO2 exhaust level increased rapidly throughout the period despite several declines in years 1990 and 2010.
Looking at regions that changed insignificantly, albeit with rapid growth during the period, CO2 pollutants from India still ended the period at the lowest rank with only 2g. Moreover, the USA and the EU began at a relatively similar figure. These two regions shared the same changing pattern until 1980 before indicating an opposite one in the entire period, as USA CO2 pollutants increased, while a steady decrease was demonstrated by the EU.
