The given line graph illustrates the electricity generated from three main sources in terrawatt-hours in Europe from 1990 to 2020. As for bar chart, it depicts the proportion of electricity used by four various sections in 2020.
Overall, electricity generated from Oil declined considerably over the period, while Reneweables climbed dramatically and outstripped Oil and Nuclear energy sources. In terms of electricity consumption, Industrial section consumed the highest proportion, whereas Transport showed the opposite trend.
Concerning the details, Oil sources accounted for 80 terrawatt-hours in 1990 and fell gradually to a roughly 75 in 1995. Afterwards, the figure continued to decrease sharply to approximately within 25 years. Regarding Nuclear energy made up abound 45 TWh at the begginning of the period and increased steadily by overtaking Oil in 2000 to 70 in 2010. However, the figure declined negligibly in the final decade. As to Renewable energy, the figure constituted at only 10 in 1990 but rose considerably over the entire period. Therefore, it surpassed Oil in 2010 and reached a peak of 90 TWh in 2020.
Turning to percentage of electricity used by different sections, the Industrial accounted for 45% in 2020, making it the highest consumer. Residential stood at 25% followed by Commercial sector at 20%, while Transport represented the smalles proportion of 10%.
