Overall, from the graph it is clear that the use of phones increased throughout the decade in all age grouped. However, ages 18 to 24 not only remained the highest percentage, but also had a sharper increase. In contrast, people who are 50+ numbers increased steadily and remained low.
The age groups 30 to 49 and 25-29 had similar pattern during the ten years. in 2015, 25-29 age group started with a little above 120 minutes, the numbers increased steadily, by 2025 it reached around 155 min. Furthermore, individuals ages 30 to 49 screen time went from about 144 in 2015, to almost 180 in 2025.
The age group with the highest screen time which is 18 to 24 started by a little more than 160 in 2015, the time rose sharply to reach about 230 in 2025. In contrast, individuals who are 50 and above screen time barley raised, it went from around 40 minutes in 2015, to about 100 minutes a day in 2025.
