Overall, it can be seen that the value average value of tickets which were sold to people was stable over the last two quarters of 2010 and the first two quarters of 2011. Moreover, it is noticeable that Q4 of both years tends to contribute to the highest proportion of ticket sales.
Looking at the line graph in more detail, it is clear that the cost of the tickets purchased by the people in Q1 of 2010 stood at 9.25 pounds which remained unchanged in Q2 before witnessing a sharp jump to 10.5 pounds in Q3 of 2010. The price of the tickets then remained unchanged till the Q2 of 2011 before seeing a slight decreased to 10.25 pound, and again rising to 10.5 pounds in Q4 of 2011.
On the other hand, the proportion of ticket sale in Q1 and Q2 of 2010 was same at 60%, and then fell to approximately 52% in Q3 of 2010 before rising significantly to 80% in Q4 of 2010, which was the highest percentage in ticket sale in 2010. Similarly, in 2011, the percentage of tickets sold tickets in a cinema hall remained the same in Q1 and Q2 at 20%, which saw a steady increase to about 70% in Q4 of 2010. It was the highest sale in 2011.
