The color lines show the groups of number of cars they owned the blue ones reprents having no car, the red only one car, the green one if they owned two and the yellow if they had 3 cars.
It shows that the most popular option scince 1975 is having only one car with about 45% of the population, the it went down in 1985 but still being the higher option, and by 2005 it got back to being the 45%. The blue one was also really popular in the 70s but by 2005 was only around 20% of the population part of no having a car.
Having 2 or 3 cars were always low with less then 10% and barely increasing by 2005 with having 2 cars increasing to an 18% and having 3 up to a 9%.
