The line graph compares summer and winter attendance rates of one museum in 2003. The results are given number of visitors and includes the period from 9:00 o’clock to 18:00 o’clock.
From an overall perspective, it can be seen that the majority of people preferred to visit the museum in summer, especially in the mornings and the first part of the day until 14:00 o’clock; in winter time, in contrast, it was less crowded during the whole day in comparison with the warm season; moreover, the attendance started dropping after the noon.
Regarding summer, a flow of history and art lovers reached about 1400 individuals in the early hours, which then peaked after 11:00 am when approximately 1600 of people entered the museum, then the figures began to gradually decrease until the closure.
In winter, the best result did not exceed 600 visitors during the first hours of work, in addition, it constantly fluctuated. After 12:00 the museum became emptier with each hour. There were not any guests between 14:00 and 18:00 o’clock.
