The supplied charts provide a comparison of different genres of borrowed books and the number of those, which were borrowed in four libraries namely as West Eaton, Ryeslip, Suton Wood and Church Mount during 4 months in 2014.
Overall, it is evident that the biggest share of used books was related to Fiction category, whereas the smallest one was a Self-help type of books. Among four villages , the Rueslip experienced a sore decline in the number of provided books. In contrast to this, even though Sutton Wood fluctuated over the period, it eventually surpassed others with the biggest portion.
Fiction books exceeded all categories with 43 % of borrowed books. Historical and scientific books were used, having the same portion of 14% for both. Biographical novels are accounted for 19% , which just above in 5% the previously mentioned types. The smallest numbers of libraries’ textbooks had only 10% .
West Eaton and Church Mount libraries stayed at the same level of given books in July with 50 pieces , gradually increasing its number up to 150 by September. Suton Wood were at second and witnessed a dramatic fall from about 270 to 100 books in August, and then, peaked at 300 items in September. The library, which experienced a gradual but significant fall ,having 300 borrowed book in July, eventually supplied people approximately with 170 books in September.
