This line graph illustrates the number of single-family in four different regions in the USA during 2006-2012. We can see immediately that the greatest change occurred in the number of homes in the South, while residential construction in the Northeast was approximately low, but steady.
Overall, it is clearly evident that the number of single-family in South, had the dramatic decrease. If we eyeball the beginning and the end of this graph, then we see that three regions’ construction numbers are just about at one level. If you check more in the Northwest, there have been more houses built.
In 2006, the Midwest built around 280,000 homes and followed a similar trend to South until 2010.But in the next year it came out the same and became higher.
In the first year the West tried to build more houses, but they might not have enough money or did not find the right person for this job. Finally, the smallest was in Northwest,in every year it always decreased, but in 2008 almost became level with Midwest.
