Overall, there were striking similarities in growth trajectories among these age groups. People aging between 14 to 24 had the highest percentage of cinema visitors, taking the leader position. Meanwhile, the group of elderly aging more than 50 held the lowest proportion.
To be specific, the percentages of all groups had a prominent decrease from 1978 to 1988, and they all had a significant rise in the next decade. Moreover, a stable growth can be observed in all age profiles from 1998 to 2003, after that, the four groups turned to have different growth. Aging from 14 to 24 always held the highest proportion, commencing at 90 percent people and recorded the lowest percentage at approximately 75% in 1988. After a few years of steadily growth, it had a slight decline in 2008, reaching about 80%. Noteworthy changes also occurred in group aging more than 50. Though suffered a significant reduction which made the percentage of cinema visitors drpped at 20% in 1988, this group of visitors experienced increase consistently and culminated at 50% in 2008, catching the figure of group aging 35 to 49.
