Then, this figure rose for all in the next years. The percentage for over 50s and the most younger ones remained stable till 2003. After that, there was a moderate increase in the older group constituting 50%. On the contrary, proportion of 14-24 aged people dropped to 80% in 2008.
Overall, there has been quite changes in the percentage of different age groups between the years of 1978 to 2008. It can be seen that younger people had been visiting the cinema most over all these years. People aged between 25-49 had always been going to the cinema moderately while the least proportion had been 50 plus people.
