Thee chart informs about how the spending in a European country differ since 1960 till 2000.
Overall, during the whole period the percentage of all categories steeply hit the free fall, except the transport category, which had grown till the end of the timeline. Notably, among all categories which fall, the rates of transport category lose the highest percentage.
Initially, the rates of food category composed about 35%, which was about 15% difference between this and leisure categories, in advantage of food. Also, there was 5% difference between clothing and energy, with respective, 10% and 5%. In the middle of the time, the rates of food category decrease for 10 %, while the change of leisure was the half of the food categories changes. However, the difference of clothing and energy categories composed half of the changes of the energy category. Near the end, the rates of food and leisure categories were somewhat 16%, while the rates of the clothing and energy categories were 5% and below 5%.
However, at the same time the transport category, steeply had grown. Initially, it is rates was about 10%, in the same level with clothing category, then in the middle of the timeline, in 1980, was about 13%. Near the end, the percentage of the transport category composed about 15%, madding it in the highest rates among all categories in 2000.
