The graph illustrates the proportion of navigations, distinguished in types of transportation means, in the same territorial occupation between 1985 and 2015.
Overall, it is clear that there were a substantial upward trend in the prevalence of car means from 1985 to the end of given period. However, while the others did not witness any progress in increasing, the bus modes dramatically fell in favor among population in 2015.
From 1985 to 2000, the portion of people, who used cars, soared modestly from 20% to significantly 80%, and continued to maintain the trend till the end, after experiencing a slight drop by roughly 10% (from 80 to 70). Conversely, the percentage of other means of vehicles, used for travels, showed a mild fluctuation, between roughly 5% and 15%, without going beyond of the latter statistics in 2015.
Interestingly, the bus as means of transport, being on the top of usage with 60% in 1985, had a steep slump of under 20% in 2000, and then reached a low peak of 10% over the next 15 years. Likewise, the rails, which fluctuated in the percentage from 1985 to 2015, had a decrease by 10% in 2000, and then went up to the start point of 20% in 2015.
