The prices in Japan and Germany during the period between 1996 to 1998 rose sharply from 2 dollars per kilogramm to almost 3 dollars and from 1.5 to approximately 2.7 dollars, respectively. On the other hand, sales in France maintained at the same level and in USA they are rose by 0.25 dollars.
Over the next 4 years all the countries experiences the fluctuations of prices. The cost of bananas in Japan in Germany dropped to the starting point, while prices in USA and France declined slighty by 0.1 dollars.
During the period from 2001 to 2004 prices in Japan rose, but after dropped drammaticaly from 2.5 to 1.5 dollars. Prices in France rose by approximately 0.25 dollars per pound. At this time, USA and Germany have shown the balance in prices and remained the same.
