Overall, the exports in China saw a noticeable improvement, and there was a gradual decrease in the USA and European Union but Asia ( without China) underwent a decrease before increasing over the span.
To begin with, a gradual drop was observed between 2000 and 2014 in the total exports of clothing, which started at approximately 33 % and finished at around 22 %. Similarly, clothes exports began to drop gradually from over 10 % to 5 % in the USA in the finalization of the period.
However, the total export of clothing in China improved dramatically from 10 % to over 30 % in 2008 but then started to rise steadily and reached 35 % in the last year. In total export of clothing decreased from 20 % to under 15 % in 2008 but recovered to approximately 10 % in Asian nations ( without China ).
