Next year, Canadian wheat exports took the highest lead, with approximately 22 million tonnes, while Australian and European community were remained 15 and 14 million tonnes.
In 1988, Canadian exports constituted for 25 million tonnes, respectively. However, Australian wheat exports dominated a downward trend, with just below 13 million tonnes, whereas European community took the second highest wheat exports, with 15 million tonnes. During the next two following years, Canadian wheat exports saw a considerable decrease, accounting for approximately 15 and 18 million tonnes, while European community took the highest lead, with 18 and 21 million tonnes. Moreover, Australian exports constituted a moderate decrease, with about 11 million tonnes.
