The line chart provides an overview of the movement of wheat exports from 1985 to 1990. Detailing three different countries: Australia, Canada and The European Community. Units are measured in million tonnes.
Looking from an overall perspective it is readily apparent that Europe and Canada have been rising either several fluctuations over the given period. However, Australia has declined, being the exception.
It can be clearly seen that amounts of Canada began at around 19 million tonnes and the have fallen at nearly 17 million tonnes in 1989 before increasing significantly at 25 million, hitting the highest point. In the final year Canada has peaked roughly 18 million tonnes. The European Community presented fluctuations all the given period and beginning with 16 million tonnes, have been increasing considerably to almost 21 million tonnes.
On the other hand, Australia’s exports followed a downward trajectory. Starting at roughly 15 million tonnes in 1985, they gradually declined year by year, ending at just over 11 million tonnes in 1990.
