Overall, School S1 is planned for a rural area close to the main road and is intended to serve the surrounding countryside, whereas School S2 is situated in the town centre and is aimed at residents from nearby towns.

Regarding the first option, School S1 would primarily serve people living in rural areas, particularly those travelling from Sturry. This site is located near the main road, providing convenient access, and is also relatively close to the university and surrounding residential areas. In addition, the proximity of nearby housing suggests that the school would be easily accessible for local families.

By contrast, School S2 is intended for residents of Chartham and would be built in the town centre. This location includes a traffic-free zone, which makes it a safer environment for students. Furthermore, the central position allows convenient access to other public facilities within the town. Unlike S1, this site is at a considerable distance from the university.
