The diagram illustrates two possible construction sites for a mall which is planned to be built in the town of Garlsdon.
Overall, the first site is in the rural area of the town while the other site located in the town center. Moreover, while the first construction place can be accessed by both railway and main road, railway is the by only mode to reach the second site.
Garlsdon is a town with 65,000 population. It is close to Hindon, Bransdon and Cransdon where the population is 10 000, 15,000 and 29,000, respectively. The first planning place for the supermarket is in the countryside near Hindon, which is in the Northwest of Garlsdon. This site is outside of housing area, however, it can be reached by a mainroad from town center to Hindon and a railway which crosses the town.
The second construction site takes place in the town center where is no traffic zone. The only way to access this area is through the railway. However, this site is in the housing area and near an industryzone at the south of Garlsdon, which means the future mall is easier to gain popularity.
