The map illustrates the two possible locations for the planned supermarket in Garlsdon which has a population of 65,000.
Overall, it is evident that the future design is considering the accessibility of two areas. The first alternative site is located in the countryside; however, the second location is in the urban area.
The first achievable spot will be at the west-north of Garlsdon and it will be between a main road and the railway. Additionally, site 1 will be near the industrial area and the north housing area. Therefore, it can be beneficial to both commuters and car owners.
The second viable location will be in the city center, which is a no-traffic zone. Nonetheless, the railroad goes through the downtown area so it is still convenient for individuals to reach. Furthermore, since site 2 will be close to the south dwelling, it will be handy for the residents to buy groceries.
