The map demonstrates two proposed sites regarding new supermarket in the town of Garlsdon. Overall, neither site is appropriate for the residents of all towns nearby, but the out-of-town one, S1, would probably be more appropriate.
One of the potential locations, S1, is outside of the town itself, and is sited just along the main road to the Hindon town, lying 12 km to the north-west. Since this site is in the countryside, it would accommodate a great parking lot. Therefore, this would be an appealing benefit for shoppers from Hindon and Garlsdon who travel by car. Moreover, there is railway connecting two towns to Cransdon (25 km to the south-east), so people passing by will likely find it convenient.
As can be seen on the map, the second site, S2, is right in the town center, which would be good for local residents. In fact, it could be accessed by shoppers from Bransdon as well. However, the center has no traffic zone, and people driving along would not be able to park their cars anywhere, causing a lot of inconvenience.
