the given pictures illustrate how the waterfront area of the Darwin town changed in 2009 and 2014.
in 2009, more than half of the land was industrial area, with the sea located to the northern side. there were 2 swimming pools and 1 fishing area near the coastal line. standing next to the smaller pool was 3 residential buildings, and faraway was a school with a convention centre near the 3-junction path. an idustrial area with a greeney lake was circled by footpath in the middle of the area.
in 2014, excepting for school, convention centre, fishing area, 2 pools still remained unchanged, there was a construction of a swimming pool in the westnorthern side. the industrial area turned into forest, and an university was built with a nearing footpath connected to a habor which was erected at the coastal line. the residential area was expanded to 6 buildings, and a new pool took the place of industrial area in the circle.
overall, the town witnessed several changes with the most noticeable was the industrial zone; in addition, there were some addition of recreation and the construction of facilites to cater Darwin residents
