The two maps demonstrate how some facilities in a town have been constructed over the past 30 years.
Overall, the area has shifted from a rural and a fishing village to a more urbanized and tourism region. The key changes include the expansion of housing, growth of new amenities and elimination of all agricultural activities.
Firstly, the farmland and forest park were demolished to make space for a golf course and tennis court, located in the Northeast. The residential area was expanded to the West South, which included more houses aligned on both sides of the main road and an isolated housing area. An additional road to the West was built between two living zones.
Moving to the end of the village, the chain of shops vanished and the restaurants were found instead in the South West. On the South East of the road, the hotel remained untouched and the car park was erected next to it. Along the coastline, the apartments were constructed opposite the shops, it also means that the fish market disappeared. The floating fishing ports on the sea were removed while the cafe still existed.
