Overall, the area has significiantly gone through urban transformation. Mainly, green areas are replaced by construction of new facilities. While, some amenities get upgraded and extended.
Frenton, in 1990, was a town with playing fields and trees in north and south-west. There were bunch of houses in east with nieghborhood of shops in south-east. A theather for, recreational activities was located between shops and park. Hospital besides library were in centre of town, across the high street. School and bank were there in south of area.
In 2012, things have changed dramatically. Playing fields are replaced by Flats in blocks of flats in north and with techno park in south-west. Hospital extended in centre and houses in east turned into block of flats. Transformation of, Bank into resturant in west, shops into super market in south-east, and theater into cinema in center, are the major changes occured.
