The diagram displays the different stages of manufacturing and recycling paper. Overall, the process, consisting of 10 stages, is man-made and starts with cutting down trees and ends with either becoming a different product or being recycled. Additionally, trees are required as a raw material.
Initially, trees are chopped down, and their bark is removed using a drum to prepare for the next stage. In the third stage, wood without bark is put in a chipper to make wood chippings. Once they are ready, they pass to the pulping phase, where they are placed in a refiner to make pulp. Afterward, they proceed to the pulp pressing stage to press pulp and prepare it for manufacturing different products.
Subsequently, pressed pulps are used for either making rolling paper or printing newspapers. Following that, used newspapers are collected and moved to the next stage to remove ink. Once the ink is removed, they pass to the pulping stage to be recycled and make pulp. Finally, the recycling process is restarted from pulp pressing.
