The map is giving the information about the transformation of a village to a bigger town after the surge of population from 1980 to 2012. Overall, the Milton had few developments and changes on the both side of the high street.
As per the map, The high street is dividing the Milton into left and right. School was at the upper left corner and Hospital was in the middle of the village in 1980, which remained at the same place until 2012. However, there were few main changes occurred on the left side of the high street, the restaurant and flats were built replacing bank and play ground. Besides, the technopark developed in 2012, after the removal of the trees from down left corner of the village.
On the other hand, The right side of the village completely changed after the conversion of the Milton to a town from 1980 to 2012. Instead of the Park and cafe which were there touching the high street, they converted into the hotel and the golf course. Also, the shops and the houses transformed into the flats and the supermarket in 2012.
