The given maps demonstrates the important changes in Pentland between 1980 and 2007.
Overall, it is cleared that there were noticeable changes of Pentland, in terms of building, and facillities. In addition, several facillities were added and modified by 2007.
In 1980, there were intersection roads in the center of the map and sea in the north side of the road. Pentland only had limited infrastructure, such as cark park in the far east of the roads and industrial area, and its city was dominant by grasslands.
In 2007, the sea was refunctioned to yacht marina, giving the accesible path for citizens, and there were the additional road surrounded the yacht marina. The apartments was built in the far northen west of the map. Meanwhile, the car park was relocated to the far west of the map with multi-storey concept. Many shops was built alongside of the intersection roads, which was fourteen store in total. The area of grasslands was converted into some buildings, captivating the people of Pentland, such as cinema in the southen west of the map. Additionally, swimming pool and park were near multi-storey car park.
