The following maps illustration an Atlantic Ocean town affected by a volcanic eruption in the year 1706.

Overall, there was a residential area that got engulfed by the lava, the port was no longer available for ships, and only the castle remained undamaged.

Starting with the town before the castrophe, it contained a Town Square on the western site with a castle at the heart of the land. On the eastern location of the town was the port, which docked 60 ships per month. Additionally, the seaways of the ships led to Europe and America. Finally, the volcano is 8 kilometers away from the coast.

Subsquently, the volcano eruption ocurred with a 8-day interval. The first phrase of the disaster started on 8th May, the lava flow down to the Town Square, causing destruction to an amount of the residential area. Following was the second phrase 8 days later on 16th May, the castrophe covered the eastern land of the town. Consequently, there were no more ships present at the port, and only the castle remained in the town.
