The given two maps illustrates development that took place in Frenton town in 22 years(1990-2012).
Overall, it is clear that considerable changes took place throughout the years that made the town less green and more residential.
To begin with, there were houses on the north and northeastern side of the town which were changed into block of flats. Then, Hotel and a golf course has been established in place of cafe and park. Next, Theatre building was changed into cinema hall while supermarket got opened replacing shops in the southermost area to make it more organized. Moreover, high street remain unchanged but few flats has been made at the end of it.
Moving on, School and Library were not changed at all but hospital was expanded to treat a large number of patients. To add on, a restraunt has been constructed at the place of bank. Finally, a large area of tress in southwestern part of the town has been cut to create a technopark.
