The given maps provide a comparison of the layout of a beachfront area in Australia at two divergence points in time, namely year 1950 and now.
Overall, it is apparent that there were some variation between two map. The road was evidently extended surround the entire area. Some recreational facilities were added.
In 1950, the road located in the top of northeastern corner, which lengthened along to the car park. Adjacent to the road, there were three sections. To the nearest left, the pavilion was built next to the dining tables. And at the far end of road, the playground has founded. Nearby beach, two 25m pool located in the both side right and left. In the bottom southwestern corner, the lighthouse was constructed.
In recent time, there are some noticeable changes. The road was expanded dramatically toward the south. While the playground was replaced by a new car park, the areas of dining tables, the pavilion and an old car park experienced no noticeable changes. Some recreational facilities were added alongside the left. Restaurant and Surf Club were constructed next to each other. In the vicinity of them, a pool was extended from 25m to 50m. Opposite to the Surf Club next to restaurant, there was an other Surf Club located adjacent to the light house. Albeit the variations of almost places, no alterations were made to the light house and a 25m pool next to it, which remained intact throughout the period.
