The two maps show how the layout of a bookstore changed after some sections were rearranged.
Overall, the bookstore was redesigned to make it more comfortable for customers. Some book sections were moved, and a café with tables was added in the center.
In 2000, the middle of the store had Art, Hobbies, and Cookery books. The Fiction section covered the top and right sides of the store, while Non-fiction was at the bottom. The service desk was near the entrance on the left.
After the changes, the central area now has tables for customers to sit and relax. A new café was added in the bottom part where the Non-fiction books used to be. The Art, Hobbies, and Cookery sections were moved to the top of the store, next to the Fiction section, which now only takes up the right side. The Travel and New Books sections remained in the same places near the entrance and service desk.
