The two maps illustrate how a school site has developed between 1985 and the present day.
Overall, the school has been significantly modernized and expanded to accommodate a larger student population, with the addition of new buildings and facilities, and a reduction in the size of the playing fields.
In 1985, the school featured an office, a library, several classrooms, a small car park, and a large playing field. The classroom block was two storeys high, and the car park was situated next to the classrooms along a straight road.
At present, several major changes have taken place. The classroom block has been extended vertically to three storeys, and additional classroom buildings have been constructed to the east. The library has been replaced by a Learning Resources Centre, which is now accompanied by a new Computer Room. The car park has been enlarged and reshaped, now featuring a curved entrance and exit.
Moreover, a swimming pool and a fitness centre have been introduced in the southwest corner of the site, leading to a considerable reduction in the area of the playing fields. A small group of trees has also been planted in the central area between the new facilities.
